Why did I start this podcast? I served as president of the San Diego Professional Editors Network (SD/PEN) from 2021-2022, and it changed everything. It got me to break out of my shell by introducing speakers, moderating panel presentations, and leading board meetings. I was a nervous wreck before my first meeting!

But, I quickly learned that many editors think the same way. We approach problem-solving the same way, and we tend to be diplomatic (in a good way) about certain situations. As president, I realized that I was asking our speakers interview-style questions. It naturally led to starting the podcast!

The goal of the podcast is to address issues and concerns that arise for advanced editors. There are many things that cater to newbie editors, which is great, but not many podcasts for editors who have been doing their thing for a while.

I hope you find validation, information, and valuable insight into what it takes to edit all types of content for all types of industries.
