Writing
During the writing phase, we tailor your content to ensure it effectively communicates your message and achieves its intended purpose. Our team at Pique Publishing can provide a variety of writing styles for self-published authors and corporate clients in fiction and nonfiction. We can dive deep into ghostwriting or scale smaller to write short articles for bi-monthly publications. We spend time to explore and research your content to find a writing style that best fits your brand and audience by staying true to your personality.
Editing
It’s simple—editing is the core of our business. Our team of experts can step in at any stage of your project to help you fine-tune your content, check for accuracy, and ensure the author’s personality and meaning is clear. There are three main levels of editing that vary from heavy to light: (1) developmental, (2) stylistic or copyediting, and (3) proofreading. If you’re unsure, we can work together to determine which level is required for your project.
Design
Through layout and design, your content is elevated to the next level to show your true personality. We keep lines of communication wide open with our clients during this phase. By applying good design principles, such as typography, layout, and graphics, your content is transformed into an aesthetic that connects your message to your brand. Whether it’s digital or print, we bring your content to life with style.
Production
Through editorial planning and production, we ensure that each project phase is kept organized, on time, and within budget to reach the intended final product. Editorial planning, scheduling, and production require close collaboration with all team members, and among multiple stakeholders, so the final product matches the vision as closely as possible.
Distribution
Whether it’s a website, book, or other digital asset, we can assist in overseeing the final phase of distribution. For print products, we communicate with warehouses, retailers, and other distribution channels to ensure your content is easily and efficiently sold and distributed. Leading up to your pre-press release date, we will guide you to the best marketing professionals we know in order to strategize and plan accordingly.
